Step-by-step Guides: How to recover lost TIFF photos on Mac
Disk Doctors Photo Recovery (Mac) Software provides easy to use interface that helps you to recover digital files in simple steps. Please follow the steps below to recover lost TIFF photos from a digital camera on Mac.
Step 1. Run photo recovery software.
Run Disk Doctors Photo Recovery for Mac software, by double clicking on application icon from the 'Applications' folder or the location where the software has been installed. Program main Window will be displayed as shown in the Figure (a).

Step 2. Choose TIFF photo type.
Select the drive which you want to recover photos from and click on "Next" button to proceed. The program displays a Window to select TIFF type that you wish to recover.
By default all the file types will be selected. Click on "Deselect all" button and select TIFF format which you wish to recover and click on "Recover" button as shown in Figure (b).

Step 3.
Scan lost TIFF photos in camera.
Once you have opened the drive and selected the file formats, application starts scanning your selected drive as shown in Figure (c). Please wait till the process is completed.

As soon as the application completes the scanning process, the recovered TIFF photos will be analysed and displayed in a well organized data tree as shown in Figure (d).

Step 4. Save recovered TIFF photos to Mac.
You can now save the recovered TIFF files in order to complete recovery process. Select the photos you wish to recover and click on save button.
Specify a safe location to initiate saving process. Shown in Figure (e).

Please Note: In order to save your recovered data, you need to purchase and activate the full version. Saving option will not work in demo version.
It might take a while depending on the size of the camera memory card. The bigger it is, the longer it will take to complete scanning. As long as you do not take any more data on the camera, you are able to get lost TIFF photos back in a short time. The concept is actually the same as undelete camera memory cards for Mac.
