It's over when formatting your disk? That's wrong!
We can use UNDELETE function to recover deleted files from hard disk, and normally think that formatted is the final to erase all the files completely, it's impossbile to recover data on a formatted hard disk. Disk Doctors Photo Recovery (Mac) Software provides easy to use interface that helps you to recover lost data in simple steps. Please follow the steps below to recover formatted local hard disk or external hard drive on Mac.
Step 1. Run photo recovery software.
Run Disk Doctors Photo Recovery for Mac software, by double clicking on application icon from the 'Applications' folder or the location where the software has been installed. Program main Window will be displayed as shown in the Figure (a).

Step 2. Choose file types.
Select the hard disk which you want to recover data from and click on "Next" button to proceed. The program displays a Window to select file types that you wish to recover.
By default all the file types will be selected. Click on "Deselect all" button and select those file formats which you wish to recover and click on "Recover" button as shown in Figure (b).

Step 3.
Scan lost data on formatted disk for Mac.
Once you have opened the hard disk and selected the file formats, application starts scanning your selected drive as shown in Figure (c). Please wait till the process is completed.

As soon as the application completes the scanning process, the recovered data/file will be analysed and displayed in a well organized data tree as shown in Figure (d).

Step 4. Save data from formatted disk to Mac.
You can now save the recovered media files in order to complete recovery process. Select the files you wish to save and click on save button.

Please Note: In order to save your recovered data, you need to purchase and activate the full version. Saving option will not work in demo version.
It might take a while depending on the size of the camera memory card. The bigger it is, the longer it will take to complete scanning. As long as you do not take any more data on the memory card, you are able to get the deleted videos back. The concept is actually the same as recover photos off a formatted hard drive on Mac.
