Retrieve your lost Kodak files in seconds
"I bought a Kodak C633 camera, with a Lexar SD card. I accidentally deleted some photos from the SD card, the card has not been formatted since, nor have I written any new files to it. Now I can't access the camera through the ordinary Mac mass storage driver, in the way that I access my USB pen drive, is it possible to retrieve deleted files from an SD card on this type of camera?" ----- from a Kodak user
Files deleted from Kodak cameras are retrievable: In your Kodak camera SD memory card, when you delete files, just make system add a delete flag to the data file. The information system received is the file has been deleted, the space occupied by it has been "emptied out", thus new file can use the space. Actually deletion does nothing to data area, files are still on your Kodak camera flash memory.
Therefore, with a powerful enough file recovery tool we can retrieve those deleted files from cameras without regrets. Disk Doctors Photo Recovery for Mac will be a good alternative, it is an award winning software recommended by Apple.com.
You can download DEMO version first it allows you to see if your wanted files are still in your camera memory card. As long as you didn't take new photos or videos on the storage device, this file recovery software can retrieve them in a short time.

Guides: How to retrieve deleted files from a Kodak camera?
Disk Doctors Photo Recovery (Mac) Software provides easy to use interface that helps you to retrieve lost digital files in simple steps. Please follow the steps below to retrieve deleted digital photo or video files from Kodak camera SD card on Mac.
Preparation before retrieving files from camera memory card:
Attach the Kodak camera SD memory card to your card reader (most of the latest desktops and laptops nowadays are having inbuilt card readers, in case your system is not having any, buy a USB interface card reader). Make sure your system is able to recognize the drive; do not worry if it is not showing any data existing inside.
Step 1. Run file recovery software.
Run Disk Doctors Photo Recovery for Mac software, by double clicking on application icon from the 'Applications' folder or the location where the software has been installed. Program main Window will be displayed as shown in the Figure (a).

Step 2. Choose file types.
Select the memory card reader drive from the drive(s) list, and click on "Next" button or double click on the drive to proceed.
As you click "Next" button, the program displays a window to select types of files you want to retrieve from Kodak digital camera, such as KDC, K25, DCR. Shown in "Figure (b)".

Step 3.
Retrieve deleted files from Kodak to Mac.
As soon as the application completes the data scanning process, the files deleted from your Kodak camera will be analysed and displayed in a well organized data tree. Show in Figure (c).
Click on "Save" button and specify a safe location to save retrieved files to your local folder.
Show in Figure (d).

Please Note: In order to save your recovered data, you need to purchase and activate the full version. Saving option will not work in demo version.
It might take a while depending on the size of the camera memory card. The bigger it is, the longer it will take to complete scanning. As long as you didn't take any more photos on the memory card, you are able to get the deleted pictures back. The concept is actually the same as photo recovery on flash drives.

Thank you! It is nice to deal with professionals! In spite of my PC being re-imaged, having several applications installed and being used daily for about a week, your product was able to recover most of my lost files!"
