Step 1. Run photo recovery software.
Run Disk Doctors Photo Recovery for Mac software, by double clicking on application icon from the 'Applications' folder or the location where the software has been installed. Program main Window will be displayed as shown in the Figure (a).

Step 2. Choose file types.
Select the hard disk which you want to retrieve from and click on "Next" button to proceed. The program displays a Window to select file types that you wish to retrieve.
By default all the file types will be selected. Click on "Deselect all" button and select those file formats which you wish to recover and click on "Recover" button as shown in Figure (b).

Step 3. Scan data on failed hard disk.
Once you have opened the hard disk and selected the file formats, application starts scanning your selected drive as shown in Figure (c). Please wait till the process is completed.
