Step 1. Run file recovery software.
Run Disk Doctors Photo Recovery for Mac software, by double clicking on application icon from the 'Applications' folder or the location where the software has been installed. Program main Window will be displayed as shown in the Figure (a).

Step 2. Choose file types.
Select the hard drive which you want to get back from and click on "Next" button to proceed. The program displays a Window to select file types that you wish to recover.
By default all the file types will be selected. Click on "Deselect all" button and select those file formats which you wish to get back and click on "Recover" button as shown in Figure (b).

Step 3.
Scan files after a format on hard drive.
Once you have opened the hard drive and selected the file formats, application starts scanning your selected drive as shown in Figure (c). Please wait till the process is completed.

As soon as the application completes the scanning process, the recovered data/file will be analysed and displayed in a well organized data tree as shown in Figure (d).

Step 4. Get files back from hard drive after a format.
