Get data back from camera memory card
"I am attempting to upload pictures from my camera's memory card but it says that 'the data cannot be read... reformat it to hard drive.' However, if i reformat the data gets erased? The data also does not upload unless I do this. I don't understand what I need to do? Any help please?"
Your images/pictures are stored on your SD memory card as a file, this file occupies a given space. When you reformat the memory card, the space on which the photos or videos were stored is not erased, actually just tells the file system: "Hey, I'm still here, but you can write a new file to overwrite me."
